| Lanessa Holds First Annual Memorial Service |
October 26, 2008 Webster, MA - Lanessa Extended Care held its First Annual Memorial Service at 2:00 pm at the facility. The service was attended by over fifty families and loved-ones who came to honor those residents who died within the past year.
The service was officiated by Rev. John Pastor with members of Lanessa staff participating: Administrator, JJoanne Bruell, Activities Team members, Tom Diflippo and Sandie Gracyalny, Unit Manger Jen Germano, and Social Worker, Bonnie Bernard.
During the service the names of all those deceased loved-one were read aloud. Families and friends were offered the opportunity to write an incription on a white ribbon which was placed on a Remembrance Tree, an evergreen planted in the courtyard. The tree was dedicated at a brief ceremony after the service.
Refreshments were served afterwards.
